🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏅 The Day Has Finally Arrived! 🏅🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The WARD & BURKE Great Glinsk Run takes place today, with all races getting underway from 6:00pm!

We are delighted to welcome the fantastic O'Rourke sisters as our very special guests, and we’re looking forward to giving them a huge Glinsk welcome.

📝 Registration and race number collection will take place between 4:00pm and 5:30pm only, so please arrive early to help reduce the workload on our fantastic volunteers. Those of you looking to take part in the walk can pay on the day in the community center

Our timing partners, Tribal Running, are running today’s event, ensuring every competitor gets an accurate race time. Times will be available online in the hours after the event.

Local photographers Alec Silke and Damien Brennan will be on hand to capture those special pictures, and our expert drone operator Eugene will make sure the event is captured from the sky.

💪 Free Recovery Services.
We’re delighted to offer FREE physio from Colin Whelan and FREE compression boots from RT Fitness for any competitor who wishes to use them.

🌮 Food Vendors.
Our fantastic food vendors will be on site from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, so come along, enjoy the festival atmosphere, and support our brilliant local businesses.

🅿️ Parking Information.
Parking is available in the new Community Car Park, with an overflow car park in Collins' Field, adjacent to the Community Centre. Our marshals will be on duty to direct traffic and assist everyone on arrival.

🚧 Road Closures.
Some roads around Glinsk will have diversions in place. Please follow all signage and respect the instructions of our marshals, who are there to ensure the safety of all runners, walkers, and spectators.

All roads leading to the Community Centre will be closed from 6:00pm until approximately 7:30pm, when the event has safely concluded. Parking is also available in the village, with just a short walk to the Community Centre.

🎶 After Party.
When the racing is over, join us in the Glencastle Lounge for a fantastic after-party featuring a live trad session from Matt Keane, Maria Fahy, and Colm Naughten.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to what promises to be a fantastic evening for our community.
