The 2026 trip to Westport has concluded and what a great weekend it was. Congratulations to Coilin O’Coigligh who took home the Joe Brady memorial trophy having had the best combined score over the two days.

A special word of thanks to all the organisers in particular Alan Rock for organising such a great weekend. Thanks also to The Helm for their usual fantastic hospitality. We are already looking forward to next year.

And so concludes the Ramor Inn Golf Society fixtures for 2025 which ended at Seapoint Golf Club in Termonfeckin yesterday.

The day ended with Breda McHugh the winner on the day & Eddie Moore being crowned Golfer of the Year for 2025. Ronan Halpin was also the winner of our match play competition - congratulations to all.

Last Saturday was Ronan Lyttle’s Captains Prize at Glasson GC. The weather conditions proved difficult all day but a great day was had by all with the presentation being held afterwards in Glasson Lakehouse Hotel. We started off 2025 with a full house of 36 participants at Black Bush Golf Club outside Dunshaughlin last Saturday.

The mixed weather conditions made it tough in parts but overall there were some great scores recorded, none more so than our winner on the day Roddy Greene who recorded a superb 43 Points.

And so ends another year for The Ramor Inn Golf Society in what was another very enjoyable year for all our members. The last fixture for the year came last Saturday at Ardee Golf Club which resulted in Alan Rock being confirmed as our Golfer of the year for 2024 👏

Last weekend the Society travelled west for the annual trip to Westport. On Friday we played Ballinrobe GC & on Saturday we played Westport GC.

As always it was a very enjoyable weekend with two fantastic courses played & the weather stayed dry for the most part.

Congratulations to our overall winner Peader Gill who took home the Joe Brady Memorial Trophy.
