Jamie Moylan – Race Weekend Recap | 7th & 8th June 2025
Legends Racing UK | Motorsport Ireland

It was a weekend of highs, lows, and serious determination for Jamie Moylan across two action-packed days of Legends racing.

Saturday – A Test of Grit

An eventful start to the weekend:

• Heat 1: Chaos unfolded as oil was laid down on the racing line during the warm-up lap. Jamie was tapped off early and rejoined, but the race was red-flagged on lap two. Due to a one-lap rollback, he was unfortunately classified as a DNF.

• Heat 2: Starting from P18, Jamie delivered a masterclass in overtaking, charging through the field to finish in an impressive 8th.

• Final: Torrential rain wreaked havoc and sadly resulted in another DNF for Jamie.

Sunday – A Storming Comeback

With clear skies above, Sunday marked a total turnaround:

• Heat 1: From the back in P24, Jamie fought his way through the grid, overtaking with precision to finish a remarkable 6th.

• Heat 2: Starting 3rd, Jamie led the race for several laps before being hit by a backmarker. Despite the incident, he held firm and crossed the line in 4th.

• Final: Lining up in P21, Jamie was part of a spectacular 14-lap battle among the Legends drivers. He showed exceptional pace and consistency to finish 10th.

A weekend full of learning, determination, and true racing spirit. Roll on the next round!

🏁 Jamie Moylan – Heat Two Update
📍 Oulton Park | 26th May

Jamie started P9 on the grid for Heat 2 of the Legends Cars Championship and came out flying! 🔥

By Turn 3, he’d stormed up to 3rd, and by Turn 6, he was leading the pack in 1st. A brilliant battle with Read kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Unfortunately, an oil pipe failure on Lap 3 forced Jamie to retire early from what was shaping up to be a stellar run. 🚫💔

📈 Next up: The Final at 15:05 – Starting P10. Jamie’s not done yet! More action to come this afternoon.
