This time next week the first day of fighting at the 2025 Claregalway Castle Shield will be done! We are starting to get real excited about it and hope you will too.
The tournament will see over 80 fighters from all across Ireland, and around the world engaged in full contact medieval combat, with the majority of our one on one fights taking place on Saturday, with group fights on Sunday.
We would love to have a crowd there to cheer us on, which is why, for the first time, this amazing spectacle will be FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
We hope to see you there from 10 each day on the 27th and 28th of September

Today I used my 84" MK IV alaskan mill frame. It looks like overkill on these logs, but they are over 1.4 metres wide (thick) so it was nessary.
