We are raising the next generation of women. 👭

Kids watch us 👀, they listen to what we say, and they learn from us long before we ever sit down to teach them. 😲

Coming from an eating disorder background, from a culture where women are taught they need to be small to be worthy and successful, and from years of tracking macros and spending hours training to stay in shape... I want to set a different example for Sofia.

I want her to see food as fuel and a love language, not as something that is 'good' or 'bad'.
I want her to see exercise as something fun and something we’re privileged to be able to do, not a punishment for what we’ve eaten.
I want her to believe that women should be strong, not skinny. 💪

I hope to give her the tools to build a positive relationship with food and her body, one she never has to spend years repairing. 💜

Motherhood has changed me. I still have those moments where I think I should be smaller, lose weight or train more, but I’m so much more conscious of what I say and how I want Sofia to see food, exercise and her body. I don’t want her to hear me criticise my body or talk about food as something I’ve been 'good' or 'bad' for eating. I want her to see me enjoy food, move my body and take care of myself, without feeling like my body has to look a certain way.

This shift in perspective has been for the better. Sofia and the next generation of women need us to do better! 💜

Carpal tunnel syndrome is surprisingly common during pregnancy, yet many people think they just have to live with the discomfort.

The good news? For many, symptoms improve after birth as swelling reduces. However, some women continue to experience symptoms postpartum, especially with the repetitive lifting, feeding, and carrying that comes with caring for a baby.

Movement, posture, strength, and simple daily modifications can make a real difference in helping you stay comfortable.

Have a read through the slides and if you'd like me to share some exercises with you, let me know.

Have you experienced numbness or tingling in your hands during pregnancy or after having your baby? How did you go about it? I'd love to hear your experience in the comments. 💜

September feels a little like January 1st, doesn’t it? 🍂✨

As summer comes to an end, the holidays wind down and the kids head back to school, it’s time to settle back into a routine and start thinking about those plans and goals for the rest of the year.

For many of us, September feels like a natural time for new beginnings, fresh motivation and new resolutions. 💪 I feel ready to get back to some more movement, especially cos my lower back needs it.

Is it the same for you?

After a lovely summer break, I'm delighted to be getting back to our in-person Mums & Minis Fitness classes! 💜

Here’s our class timetable for the next few months, so you can find a day and time that works for you and your little one.

Whether you’re looking to get moving again, keep up with exercise during your pregnancy, build strength, meet other mums, I’d love to have you join in.
Let’s make the most of the final few months of the year, together! 💪✨
September is your fresh start. Are you ready?

Any questions or bookings feel free to drop me a message.

I see you, mama: all that lifting, rocking carrying and feeling that lower back strain... Postpartum aches are real, but let me help you! 💜

RDLs help postpartum: 💪
🟣 Strengthen your hamstrings, back and glutes! All the muscles which are involved in lifting, rocking, and carrying your baby.
🟣 Reduce aches from feeding and bending over the cot.
🟣 Improve your posture and core support.

Tips for performing RDLs: 👇

🟣 It's an hinge movement: push your hips back, keep a soft bend in knees, keep your spine neutral.
🟣 Engage your core: it protects your lower back and supports your abs.
🟣 Think of your breathing: inhale on the way down, exhale as you lift.
🟣 Start light & go slow: control over load. Quality over quantity.

Your back deserves some love: start small, move safely, feel stronger!
Tag a mum who needs a bit of back relief! 😉
Any questions feel free to drop me a message!

3 weeks in Italy 🇮🇹 😍
This is not a pre/postnatal fitness post 🤪, just a little recap of our time in Italy that I decided to share with you all!

We spent 3 weeks in Italy, where I'm from, and I think there's something really special about bringing your own child back to the places and people you grew up with.

I could think of so many places to visit, to take Sofia on holidays, but giving her the opportunity to be with her grandparents, cousins, family, while hearing her Italian improve so much along the way, that beats the all! 💜

Now we are back in Ireland 🇮🇪, back to our home, back to our routines, just with a little bit of Italy still in our hearts!

To me (and I hope to Sofia now and in the future), it will always feel like leaving home to go home 🏡
