The Carrick Cup – End of Season Junior Tournament
Today marked the end of our U12 season with our end-of-year tournament, The Carrick Cup, for our Primary School junior golfers.
Once again, conditions were excellent, and the golf matched the weather, with some fantastic scoring across the field.
A huge congratulations to Tomás Anthony, who fired a brilliant Nett 16 to claim 1st place. He was followed closely by Eli Norris in 2nd place, with Liam Comerford taking 3rd place.

A special mention to Evan McCloughrey, who shot a fantastic gross score of 17 to capture the gross prize — brilliant golf Evan! 👏
It was fantastic to see such a large turnout and such great enthusiasm from all our young golfers.
We would also like to sincerely thank all the parents and guardians who gave such great support and encouragement to their children throughout the summer by accompanying the juniors during the competitions. We are very lucky to have such enthusiastic parents involved in our junior section.
A huge thank you also to club members Paudie Coffey and Pat Nolan, who kindly sponsored some fantastic prizes, which really added to the excitement of the day.
Well done to everyone involved in making the 2026 junior season one to remember. We are already looking forward to more fantastic golf in 2027.
