Welcome, all, to our Bailando by the Barrow - Second Edition Artist Announcements.

Men in Kizz amd Ginga Divas are a performance group from Nenagh. Co Tipperary, and will be perfroming a special routine for us inspired by the work of Eliza Sala, one of the top Kizomba instructors in Europe.

I know and Lady_Ginga_Sylwia have worked extremely hard with this dedicated group to bring us this tremendous show, and we here at Freesalsa Ireland are delighted to have them!!!

As promised, from time to time, some golden golden oldies of times gone past will be published here to show folks that we have been active in the Irish SBK scene for many years. Salsa, Bachata, kizomba, Limerick used to do an annual Kizomba boat trip in Athlone before switching to Kinsale, Co Cork.

On this night, after over an hour on thr boat, we danced in the main square of Kinsale until after dark as the locals watched on in a mixture of enjoyment and bemusement!

Memories like this build our community and I'm happy to say some members of that boat trip are joining us for Bailando by the Barrow all these years later.

Bailando by the Barrow presents a very special guest who has taught in Spain for nearly 2 decades,as well as teaching in festivals in Portugal.

While not teaching at this years event, we welcome this very special guest and friend to Carlow for their first trip to Ireland.
