We had another wonderful day out, this time at the Belgooly Summer show!
Chatting to current and new clients about pet passports and weepy eyes, enjoying a front row view of the dog show and appreciating all the amazing food!

MUCH has changed in the world since the first Belgooly Show was suggested in 1941 by Mrs Marigold Slowcock and Mr John Dix, however the same community spirit and volunteer ethos was present at the 80th Show on Saturday.

A special attraction at the 80th Belgooly Show on Saturday 30th of May was this steam engine and wagon 🤩
Huge thank you to Peter Lidget and Damien Gash for coming to celebrate our 80th Show. Peter had worked for 12 years rebuilding this 1908 fowler showman's engine. Damien had worked for 5 months restoring and rebuilding the circa 1920s wagon. The wagon is a Cork county council road wagon. What a labour of love for them both.
The Gash family have a longstanding history being involved with Belgooly Show, so it was great to have Damien there to follow in their footsteps.
