A Huge Well Done to All Our Junior Parkrunners on Sunday morning.

It was wonderful to see so many young runners, joggers, and walkers out enjoying junior parkrun with smiles, energy, and enthusiasm from start to finish.

Whether it was your first ever junior parkrun or you're a regular participant, you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. Every step taken, every high-five shared, and every finish line crossed is an achievement worth celebrating!

A big thank you also goes to all the parents, guardians, and volunteers who help make junior parkrun such a positive and welcoming experience each week.

A Special Welcome to Our Irish Sign Language on Tour Volunteers

We were delighted to welcome the Irish Sign Language on Tour team to Baltinglass Park junior parkrun this morning.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us and for helping to educate both our junior parkrunners and volunteers about Sign Language. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn something new and to promote inclusion, accessibility and communication within our community.

The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part and learning some signs, and our volunteers greatly appreciated the chance to broaden their knowledge and understanding.

Thank you for sharing your expertise, enthusiasm and positivity with us. It was a pleasure to have you join us, and we hope to welcome you back to Baltinglass Park junior parkrun again soon!

HALF MARATHON HEROES!

A huge congratulations to Oscar, Ian, Samuel and Oisin who proudly received their Half Marathon Wristbands at Baltinglass Park junior parkrun!

Reaching this milestone means they have completed 11 junior parkruns, the equivalent of a half-marathon distance. What a fantastic achievement!

Their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment each Sunday morning have paid off, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished.

A special thank you to their families and supporters who encourage them every step of the way, and to our wonderful volunteers who help make these milestone moments possible.

Keep up the fantastic work, boys! We can't wait to see you continue your junior parkrun journey and collect even more wristbands in the future.

A big round of congrats to Jack, Rachel and Emily, who proudly collected their Half Marathon wristbands this morning. Reaching 11 junior parkruns is a fantastic achievement and the beginning of many exciting milestones ahead.

We also celebrated an amazing Marathon milestone for Liam who has now completed 21 junior parkruns! What an incredible accomplishment, you should all be so proud. We can’t wait for you to hit your next milestone.
