Please share info on this event. Keenagh Co. Longford. Registration at Keenagh gaa grounds at 8.30am leaving at 9.45am sharp.
Kevin Stanbury was involved in a cycling accident a few weeks before our 700k For Mental Health cycle and was unable to compete in out event. Been the gentleman he is Kevin still raised funds for our cycle and joined us as we handed over the funds raised to our nominated charities.
Unfortunately Kevin suffered serious complications while having surgery late in 2019 and suffered 2 strokes which have left him permanently blind. We are putting together this event in order to raise funds for Kevin and his family at this really difficult time. Please look up "Kevin Stanbury Charity Cycle" page for more info. €20 entry fee or sell one book of tickets with prizes to be won on the day. Tickets €5 each or 3 for a €10.
Donations can also be made on the go fund me link:

Our gofundme account is now closed, almost €13,000 raised for two charities.
It's been some journey.
Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us on this journey.
Our journey may be over but for many clients out there maybe just starting theirs.

Our charity event 700k For Mental Health was a huge success raising a total of over €12,000 and still some funds /donations coming in.

A great night was had by everyone who attended the BBQ /Presentation night in Macs Shack where they pulled out all the stops and everyone had plenty to eat.

Thanks to our minister for the OPW Kevin "Boxer" Moran for attending our BBQ and he spoke about his own struggle with his mental health and as he rightly said, " help is out there, talking to someone is very important".

He went on to praise the great work that that all the cyclists did, by raising so much money for two great charities. He paid tribute to Chris Connolly who set up a Pop Shop which raised over €1000.
The Pop Up shop in Ballymahon will remain open as there is still bargains to be had and monies will be donated to other charities by Chris when she finishes up.

Pauric Connolly thanked everyone for coming and highlighted the huge effort made by all the cyclists involved.
Pauric also paid tribute to the cyclists who completed the 4 day challenge and paid for everything out of their own pockets like ( accommodation, food, etc) so two charities would benefit from all the funds raised.

Mark Nulty thanked Pauric for letting him nominate the two charities that would benefit from the proceeds of the charity cycle.
Mark went on to talk about his own personal struggle and how these charities helped him and he was now delighted to be able to give something back to them.
Mark is to be admired how he talks and promotes awareness about mental health 👏.

Thanks very much again for everyone who sponsored our cyclists, who came on board as main sponsors for the event, for businesses who sponsored the food last night to everyone who supported the Pop Up shop.
So many people will be helped/saved by the funds raised.
