We asked, and you delivered.

Thanks to all who have sent on photos, videos, gave scrapbooks, treasured personal possessions, and all sorts to be part of our wee collection of memories of all who have got us from day one to where we are today.

We didn't just get to everyone unfortunately, and there's so so many more photos out there which we'll continue to share as the weeks go by after the event tonight.

Here's a couple by well known Harps man Timothy Browne, including a fantastic photo of preparations ongoing at Finn Park for the very start of our senior journey in League of Ireland football.

From the terraces to the press box, to the fans games and to the master of ceremonies, he's been there and seen it all, and yet, to a select group, would still be known as harpskid.

Now cradling his own wee harpskid, set to show the next generation that, as his famous old flag suggests - 'FHFC - The Religion'.

Probably better with words than I am, it's fair to let well known local journalist, Chris McNulty, take this one on himself;

"Passing the Harps through the generations. We've not had many trophies to cheer about but a treasure trove of priceless memories and lifelong friendships formed on terraces and busses.
Growing up in St Johnston, football was number 1 and Maurice Toland was part of the FHFC squad at the time.
Harps dared to dream some years later and, God save us, we even mentioned the word 'Europe' briefly when we had notions in 1999.
Here's just a quick random selection of images - including my own wee man, the next generation - and a couple of prized items from my collection!"

Volunteering for your favourite club, your home club, your family club. It's not always easy either. Ask the man who stands in the turnstile on matchnight and often ends up missing goals, big moments, the craic on the terrace with your mates.

Would he change it though? Highly doubt it. You do what you can to support the club you are part of owning.

One such man is Naoise O'Fearghail. If you enter Chestnut Road on matchnight, he's more often than not the last person you see before you immerse yourself in all the thrills and spills of match night in Finn Park. Thanks to Naoise for sending us a collection of photos, favourite memories of Finn Park and also representing Harps around the globe.

Been there since day one, and no doubt he'll be there for many years to come. This is the sort of person we celebrate this Saturday night in Villa Rose Hotel for our 70th Anniversary Dinner Dance.

A key part of match night is making sure people are kept fed and watered, and the addition of the hospitality tea room at the back of the main stand has been a roaring success, adding to the already hugely popular and famous soup and tea stands located around the ground.

A big thanks to Elaine Chambers for sending these our way, a group of photos that tell their own story. Everyone in great form, all smiles, and showing off the comraderie and family feeling that lives within the walls of our famous wee ground in Ballybofey.

A guarantee there'll be more smiles, more laughs and a night of great craic ahead this Saturday night in Villa Rose Hotel & Spa as we look forward to our 70th Anniversary Dinner Dance.
