Mid-Summer Multicultural Festival returns this Saturday 20th June 2026 (1pm–5pm)

This year will again include:

🌍 Multicultural food & performances (Emerald Ballroom)
⚽ Games, workshops, sports & taster sessions (Fair Green)
🚒 Emergency services displays & family fun

There will be something for everyone on the day:
👉 Sports clubs
👉 State agencies/emergency services
👉 Multicultural groups
👉 Community groups (info stands etc.)

Week 4 of Clontuskert Rounders Club training sessions with 3rd to 6th Class pupils from Clontuskert NS! 🏃‍♂️⚾

Well done to all the children who took part in today’s session. We started with a quick warm-up involving running and throwing drills before getting straight into a game.

The children are making fantastic progress each week, getting a great understanding of the rules and developing their skills really well. It’s brilliant to see their confidence and teamwork growing with every session.

We were missing a few of the 5th and 6th Class pupils today as they were representing the school at the Loughrea Garda Hurling Tournament, where they were crowned Division 4 Champions. Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic achievement! 🏆 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Just one more training session to go next week – we’re looking forward to finishing on a high!

⚾🌍 Clontuskert Rounders Club is delighted to be taking part in the Ballinasloe Midsummer Multicultural Festival at the Fair Green, Ballinasloe on Saturday, 20th June!

Come along and give Rounders a try at our fun activity area:

🏏 Batting Challenge – Hit from a tee and see how far you can send the ball!

🎯 Overarm Throw Challenge – Aim for the target and try to top the leaderboard!

🥎 Bowling Challenge – How many “good balls” can you throw underarm?

It’s a great opportunity to learn more about our club, meet some of our members, and find out about our upcoming Go Games Event on 25th July.

With plenty of activities, entertainment, and sports taster sessions on offer, it’s set to be a fantastic free family day out. Be sure to stop by and give Rounders a try!
