THANK YOU!

A huge thank you has to go to the people who made the Ballinamore Camino possible.

We had such an amazing bunch of volunteers who not only gave up their time, but created such a brilliant atmosphere on the day, as did the locals living along the route who cheered on the walkers! So many participants commented on the wonderful community we have here and we couldn’t agree more.

Thank you also to Clara Catering, who were so flexible when our numbers rose rapidly in the lead up to the day. Feeding 550 people is no easy feat, but everyone returned to the Island Theatre to a well-deserved meal at the end of their Camino.

The biggest priority was having a safe Camino and that was made possible by the Civil Defence team and the Gardaí who helped in the preparation and on the day. It was such a relief to have highly trained team working with us in case of any issues.

We are still on a high from the success of the Camino again and can’t wait for next year. Roll on Saturday 10th July 2027!!

A huge thank you to Niall from Complete Weddings for capturing these fantastic moments for us. We are so grateful to have this amazing reminder of a truly unforgettable event.

To every volunteer, marshal, sponsor, landowner, committee member, emergency service, catering team, photographer, and everyone who gave their time to make the day possible – thank you. Your support, dedication, and hard work are what make the Ballinamore Camino such a success.

And of course, the biggest thank you goes to every single walker who joined us. Whether you took on the 16.5km, 25.5km, or 36.5km route, you helped create an atmosphere that we will remember for a long time to come.

Today’s the day! 🎉 Registration for the 2026 Ballinamore Camino is now open, and we can’t wait to welcome over 500 of you.

Please remember to arrive 30 minutes before your selected start time to allow plenty of time for registration before setting off.

The first walkers will leave at 7:00am (no earlier), and the last walkers will leave at 9:00am (no later).

Whether you’re taking on the 16.5km, 25.5km or the full 36.5km route, we hope you have a fantastic day. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, take your time, and most importantly, have fun!

Tomorrow, they'll be preparing and serving meals for 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 as they complete their Camino journey. Their continued support and hard work behind the scenes play a huge part in making this event such a success year after year.

With sunshine and temperatures of up to 26°C forecast for Saturday, there couldn't be a better day to take on the 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼! 🌞

Over 430 walkers have already signed up and preparations are well underway, and we're asking everyone planning to take part to please register as soon as possible.
