Discipline will take you further than motivation ever willšŸ‘†

Because motivation comes and goes... but what actually creates change is showing up anyway.
Do it tired
Do it unmotivated
Do it even when you don’t want to. Do something small instead of nothing.

Prove to yourself that you can do it, even on the days it feels hard or inconvenient.
So if you’re not feeling motivated today, do it anyway. Do what you can, keep goingšŸ’Ŗ

Yesterday was a first.. for both of us.

Meet William. William is 17. William has severe autism, with a sensory processing disorder.

Sunday was supposed to be our introduction. It was that, and so much more.

The goal after one hour was to have William complete three different exercises - treadmill, dumbbells and whichever other William felt comfortable in doing.

I layout multiple exercise stations;
Battle ropes
Kettlebell squats
Dumbbells
Assault bike
Ball slams
Skiier
Tire flip
Sled push
Treadmill
Lat Pulldown

William has spent time with an OT, who has done work with him with a treadmill and dumbbells.

The idea was to make it fun, but to make sure he is putting in some work.

He completed all 10!!

Working with William was such an amazing experience, to watch him work and move the way he had. In the one hour I spent with William, i learnt so much about people and life and I’m so grateful to be given the opportunity and responsibility.

Shoutout to Sue, you’re doing a great job.

I shall look forward to next Sundays session big manšŸ’Ŗ

A little introduction/appreciation post.

For those of you who don’t know me or/and are new to the page, welcome to APD. And for those of you who do know me, thank you for all the support. Not only do I focus on training, but on life - and that goes for working on clients, or anyone I’m working with including myself.

Im 33. A father of 4 beautiful children, soon to be 5 and a beautiful step daughter.

I am engaged with the beautiful Maria, who is a warrior. Strongest woman I know.

I only started eating vegetables two years ago. Can’t stand mushrooms!

I try to teach right and positivity through my training and classes.

I don’t judge a book by its cover.

I believe everyone is equal to a certain extent.

UNITED till I die!

I absolutely love what I do!!
Other than my family, without the gym I would be lost.

I have wrote poetry in my time.

I’m in recovery.
Ex smoker.

Impossible to give a favourite movie or song or quote.

My goal is to help children, or adults to get where they want to be in life; physically, mentally, emotionally. Lead them away from the life I went through or tough circumstances.

Don’t know if I believe in god but I do try to believe.

I’m bound by discipline and gratitude.

. What is failure ?

Well the definition of failure is ā€œlack of successā€.

Which is correct, but to me the only way to fail is to give up.

I have gave up on so much, and so many things in my life. This time.. failure is not an option. I will not fail.

When I started doing my classes, the numbers were low, very low and some would have took this a failure. But I keep working, and I keep learning and it’s paying off. Yesterday the most amount of people showed up to participate in the class. Again not a crazy number of people but more than what had shown up to the previous sessions.

If your business doesn’t go as planned, if your ideas get thrown out the window, if you didn’t reach a goal in a certain time frame— this does not mean you have failed. It just didn’t work. You get back up and continue with the next goal, and the next business or whatever it may be.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who is supporting me, and showing love by showing up and an even bigger thank you to my family who I love so muchā¤ļø

Oh, and I believe manifesting is real.. give it a try.

There is so much more coming, it’s going to be exciting. Stay tunedšŸ’Ŗ

So this morning I turned on the lights to what was my first morning as an entrepreneur as such.. it was the first big step in regards to ā€œmaking it rainā€ if you know what I meanšŸ˜‚

I was hoping-not expecting-hoping, that at least 9 people would come, minimum. 3 showed up. 3 !!

To some, they would look at this as failure and already want to give up. But me- not a fu***ng chance. This was a success. 3 is better than none.

Trial and error I say..

I have put so much work into this, with so much more energy to put so much more work in.

There is lots more coming..
But for now, get ready for Saturday.

There are 4 reasons for this post; 1. To show our members that we don’t only talk the talk, but walk the walk. 2. To express the importance of exercise, and I’m not saying you need to be lifting weights or running 13km. Even a walk. The benefits that come with it is second to none, it helps you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. 3. To brag a little because i never ran that distance beforešŸ˜‚ aaaaand 4. To let everyone know sessions will be starting in a couple of weeks, keep an eye and and ear outšŸ’Ŗ The 1st picture, is when I arrived to the gym to work & to workout. In the 2nd picture we have the route I chose to run with the distance which was from work to home, and in the 3rd was when I was on my route home, I met my love Maria and our youngest son Theo and we done a 15min walk around our local community before I continued on with my run. APD Training is where progress is made. Your patience is your power, stay consistentšŸ’Ŗ
