For Booking & Enquiries contact Susan on 087 - 450 3500 I, Susan Miller, was raised in the fishing village of Killybegs, Co. Donegal so it is no surprise that I feel very much at home in and around water. At 17 years of age I developed my passion for swimming by training to become a Pool and Beach Life-Guard with Irish Water Safety and an Assistant Swim Teacher with Swim Ireland. I then travelled
to North Carolina in America where I trained with the American Red Cross as a Waterfront Life-Guard. On my return to Ireland I was employed by Galway City Council as a Beach Life-Guard. I also became a voluntary crew member of the Clifden and Galway Life-Boat {R.N.L.I}. Later, I went on to become a crew member and search diver for the River Moy Search and Rescue Unit in Ballina, Co. Mayo where I was appointed Training Officer and Secretary for the Unit. I am an Irish Water Safety certified Swimming Teacher and an RLSS certified Pool Life-Guard. I am also trained to the level of Occupational First Aid including A.E.D {Automated External Defibrillation} with the National Ambulance Service and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council. I have over 15 years experience of teaching swimming to both children and adults. I also have experience of working with those who are training for triathlons and those who have disabilities. I pride myself on delivering quality, safe, effective and fun lessons to people of all ages and abilities.
