Aughrim Athletics Club

Aughrim Athletics Club Aughrim Athletics Club has been set up to promote Athletics in Aughrim, Co Wicklow for young and old. So there should be some one to run with and push you on.

We are a new club registered with Athletics Ireland since 2012. We have two main training nights, Monday at 19.00 to 20.00 and Wednesday at 20.30 to approx 21.30. There is a mix of levels involved in the club from starters to competitors. Interval training is done on Monday nights and normally a run on Wednesday. The cost is 20 euro to cover membership and insurance. There is a weekly fee of 2 eur

The Great Gorey Run 10 Mile and 5km Road Race is back by popular demand. Same as previous years the GGR course brings the runners through the town of Gorey and along nearby scenic country roads, starting and finishing at the Naomh Eanna GAA Grounds in Clonattin, Gorey.
