A huge congratulations to on a fantastic performance at Grappling Industries today 👏🥋
Eoin has been training with us for a number of years. Like many of us, his journey hasn't always been straightforward. He spent some time off the mats due to injuries and life's other commitments, but over the last few months he has worked hard to get himself back training consistently.
Recently promoted to blue belt, today was his first competition at blue belt level, and he absolutely rose to the occasion. 💪
Competing in the Adult division, Eoin had 4 tough matches, coming away with 3 wins and a hard-earned medal. Anyone who competes knows there's no easy route to the podium, and every one of those matches had to be earned.
Results are great, but what makes this achievement special is the perseverance it took to get here. Eoin is a great club man, a great training partner, a supportive teammate, and someone who always brings a positive attitude to the mats.
A special shoutout as well to for travelling up and cornering Eoin throughout the day. Giving up your own time to support teammates at competitions never goes unnoticed. Respect 👊
We are immensely proud of what Eoin achieved today and even more proud to have him representing the club.
