A certain few have being sitting on this for a while and ether it comes off or not.It was nice to be part of the process so far with various stake holders with Ballyhoura Fáilte ,Limerick County Council and Jp McManus Fund .A bold push to compete with the strongholds of the wild Atlantic way Kerry ,Cork ,Clare ,Galway .

The countdown begins and the Mulled Apple Juice is in house for the Annual Christmas Jumper spin on the 28 th Dec .Post spin chats and Hot mulled apple juice & refreshments and everyone welcome .Spin led out by and 2 routes available for families or the pump and jump for the advanced folk .

On July 26/27 will have the Irish Nationals Downhill Championships in Co Limerick Visit Ballyhoura and Limerick.ie Sporting Limerick Limerick Leader CoillteCork Beo
Some of the fastest riders on the world circuit will be here fighting out for the national title . Saturday consists of practice and qualifying in afternoon and Sunday consists of practice and race run after lunch . Be under no illusion this will be epic and some might say physically impossible

The 2025 National Downhill Championships will take place over the weekend of 26-27 July 2025. The event will take place at Ballyhoura, County Limerick and will be hosted by Limerick Mountain Biking Club.

The entries will open on Thursday 10 July 2025 @ 8 pm for the Junior, Senior and Women. The entries for the Juvenile, Youth and Masters will open on Friday 11 July 2025 @ 8 pm. There is a limit of 200 riders for the event so entries will be further limited to

Those riders with a competition licence
Those with IRELAND on their licence
Championship categories (i.e. there will not be a Sports category)
