aging felt less full of pressure this year. im content with my little lady. the biological alarm is turned off. wisdom of my years has taught me to slow down. i savoured this day. i sat in the start of a new year rather than running from another year passed of inaction. mommalife takeaction

Ive loved watching and feeling my body change.

I was a bit sad when the nurses would weigh me and then reassure me the weight will shed after birth because many women struggle with body image during pregnancy. It excites me to see the number increasing as my belly grows. Im curious and fascinated by it all. I waited to become pregnant until I was ready to embrace change. I waited until my mind was strong. It does feel like 2 versions of me and Im grateful I went on a healing journey to prepare.
