Ski road will be opened to the public from 0800 tomorrow (Friday 7th August). Access will be restored to Loch Morlich but some restrictions remain in the Glenmore area. Please follow any guidance from Forest and Land Scotland if you are planning to visit the club over the weekend.
Scottish Fire and Rescue; “This decision to reduce the cordon is subject to change depending on conditions on the incident ground.”

See you on the water soon.

*POSTPONED - Regatta Saturday 8th August and Sunday social sailing 9th August*

Scottish Fire and Rescue have today (Friday 31/7) announced a partial easing of the wildfire exclusion zone. However the Loch Morlich area remains closed.

With only a week to run before the regatta we have decided to postpone the event until the end of the season *Saturday 17th October*.

Please continue to monitor Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue and CNPA websites for the latest updates, and we will hopefully see you on the water soon.

🔥 *Glenmore Fire Update* 🔥

As you’re likely aware, the ski road is still closed at Coylumbridge so there is still no access to the sailing club at the moment. If the road opens this week, we are still hoping to hold our planned club racing event this Sunday from 1pm.

We managed to play a tiny part in supporting the fire efforts by providing the Fire and Rescue Service access to the club house to use the facilities, for which they were thankful. We’re immensely grateful to all those who worked tirelessly to fight and contain the fire and for their continuing efforts.

⛵️ Club Opening & Frozen North Challenge this weekend ⛵️

🌞 Saturday 18th April - Club Opening 🌞

We’re very excited to be opening up the club for the summer season next weekend!

We’d be delighted if members could join us from 10am to help unpack boats, dust off cobwebs and catch up over a cuppa.

Our Frozen North Challenge is a great event to get into racing. Free entry and all welcome! See poster for details…

A reminder also that membership is now due for the 2026 season. Gate and padlock codes will be changed next weekend, new codes will be sent out via Member Mojo*:

⛵️ Reminder - February social sailing TOMORROW ⛵️

Come along tomorrow, Sunday 8th February, for a sail and/or a cuppa from 1pm-4pm.

Forecast is looking slightly milder at around 7°C with very light winds. There might even be a spot of sunshine in the afternoon after a bit of a damp morning.

Looking forward to catching up with those who can make it! 🌞 🌬️🌧️

A reminder that this month’s social sailing is on this Sunday, 8th February. Weather permitting the safety boat will be launched for 1pm.

It would be great to see members out on the water or in the club house for a cuppa and a catch up. ⛵️🌞❄️

Anyone interested in joining this upcoming season is welcome to pop along and chat with committee members about what’s on offer and have a look around 😁

⚠️ Sunday Social Sailing Postponed⚠️

We’re sorry to say that due to both the recent snow (the car park is inaccessible, large amounts of snow from the ploughs are blocking access) and a poor forecast for Sunday, we’ve decided to postpone Sunday’s Social Gathering. We’re hoping to meet again before the end of the month, and will be in touch when a plan is formed. ⛵️ 🌬️

Firstly, Happy New Year to you all!

Your minds are probably far from sailing at the moment with all this beautiful snowy weather but we have a few things planned at the club this month…

To encourage even more activities at our wee club throughout the year, we’re running our inaugural “On the Water” Challenge. See the poster for details. We’d love to have lots of participants!

We are holding our first Sunday Social Sailing at the club next Sunday 11th January from noon - 4pm. Come along, take out your own or a club boat (tick off January for the “On the Water” Challenge!) or just have a cuppa and catch up with friends. We’d love to see you there!
