So long, farewell.....
Dear Yogis,
For those of you who don't get the reference, it’s from the musical "Sounds of Music". If you didn't know, I'm a big fan. Like the song says it's time for us to say good night or sadly in our case goodbye.
Some good things must come to an end and Project Zen will be closing as of November 8, 2014. Although we're sad to say goodbye, it's been an amazing ride and we've enjoyed most of it :)
We'd like to thank our loyal customers, our teachers and our amazing staff for their commitment and support over the last few years. A special thanks to those who partnered up with us both locally and abroad to help us bring a more diverse experience to our members and those who rooted for us during this experience.
Thank you to all those who participated in our retreats whether in Jacmel, Grand-Goave or at Rustik, you helped us create a new experience and elevate the bar for those looking for a unique and relaxing way to spend their week-ends in Haiti.
Project Zen, the first Yoga studio in Haiti, was born out of a desire to create a holistic, nurturing space where all types of people could practice, learn and fall in love with yoga. It was a retreat in the middle of Petion-Ville, away from the hustle and bustle, which was an integral part of many people's commute for 2 years.
At PZ, limits were pushed, new skills were learnt, friendships were formed, and love interest were made all while having fun. I will miss going to 75 Rue Faubert. We are happy to know that although we are closing our doors, the movement is alive and continues to grow in Haiti.
We would like to say goodbye with a bang so join us on Saturday November 22nd for a Yoga party, wear your yoga gear and get ready to drink. Yon won't want to miss it. More details to come.....
Farewell,
Regine & the PZ team
