Deep, rocky canyons carved by wild karst rivers.
Roads cut straight into the stone. Old bridges.
Views that make you stop for a moment and actually take it in.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate (or should we say, if it doas?:)) everything can change in an instant. Plans get flipped, routes are rethought... Just beyond the bridge in the photo, two years ago, a flash flood wiped out the entire road, leaving a massive ambis behind. There was no way through.

This is where, and when, Dinaric Adventure Raid shows why it is different. We know every meter of this terrain, and choosing which sections to remove from the route, during the planing of the next edition, is never easy. Blocked road only sharpens our imagination, pushes us to adapt, and gives us a reason to show you even more great road in often even more beautiful terrain.

DAR doesn’t promise an easy route. It promises that you’ll reach the next hotel carrying unique experiences and enriched by the adventure you’ve just lived.

We were born and raised in the Dinarides. We dreamed of exploring them long before we were even able to ride a bicycle, so we started on foot - walking, hiking, rock climbing.

Motorcycles and Jeeps came later and changed everything. Places that once took days to reach became accessible within hours. Years passed, but we never stopped exploring.

More than 40 years of tracking lie behind us, so you can be certain - we know every meter of this land and we know at least one way to get there.

Dinaric Adventure Raid is our way of sharing the best we’ve found with those who were busy somewhere else, while we were in these mountains.

This adventure is perfectly suited for your 4x4 - doable with any proper four-wheel-drive vehicle with sufficient ground clearance
