畢業之後一直有關注母校發展，近幾年透過擔任友師(mentor) 、參與校友活動有更多機會回到學校與校長、各位教授交流。因著主持PolyU活動更加見證大家庭上下一心，在學術、科研、創科落地、人才培育等不同領域積極發展，向目標邁進，成為一所創新型世界級研究型大學。
回想我在了解自己，探索世界的青少年階段，非常慶幸可以在理大校園裡學習、成長，有機會到世界各地參加辯論比賽、模擬聯合國會議，開闊眼界；暑假到悉尼、西安工作實習，離開舒適區嘗試在辦公室體驗上班生活；更成為交流生到復旦大學交流，不單收穫知識，更學習了照顧自己、獨立生活，是成長的重要過程。要為全校眾多本科生安排工作實習與到外地交流，一點也不容易，但為同學未來發展著想，各位教職員、SAO同事皆盡心盡力安排，才能成就今天的我們。
一所大學能夠將專業教育與實際應用相結合，讓學術成就與科研成果真正為社會所用，令「學」有所成，對學生、老師、社會都帶來正面價值，殊不容易。今日的我能夠實踐理想成為司儀，亦要感恩母校與各位老師當年的教導與支持，較曉我活學活用，將所學應用在主持事業上。恭喜同時感謝PolyU!
Since graduation, I have continued to care about my alma mater's development. Recently, by serving as a mentor and participating in alumni activities, I have had more opportunities to interact with the president and professors in the university. Hosting PolyU events has allowed me to witness firsthand the united efforts of the entire university community, actively advancing in areas such as academics, research, innovation, and talent cultivation, moving towards the goal of becoming an innovative, world-class research university.
Reflecting on my teenage, a time of self-discovery and exploration, I was fortunate to have learned and grown in PolyU. I had the opportunity to participate in debate competitions and Model United Nations around the world, broadening my horizons. To work and intern in Sydney and Xi'an during summer vacations, stepping out of my comfort zone to experience working life. And to become an exchange student at Fudan University, where I not only gained knowledge but also learned self-care and independent living. That’s an important aspects of my growth. Arranging internships and exchange programmes for so many undergraduates is definitely not an easy task, but the faculty, staff, and SAO colleagues have all worked tirelessly to support our future development, shaping who we are today.
It is truly remarkable for an university to integrate professional education with practical application, ensuring that academic achievements and research results are genuinely useful to the society, making learning meaningful and bringing positive value to students, teachers, and the wider community. Today, I am able to realise my dream of becoming an emcee, and I am grateful to my alma mater and all my teachers for their guidance and support, which have enabled me to apply what I have learned in my hosting career. Congratulations and thank you PolyU!
理大於最新公布的QS 2027年世界大學排名穩步上揚，升至全球第50位，刷新歷年最佳排名，印證理大在學術成就、科研創新及整體辦學實力方面獲國際權威機構高度肯定，國際高等教育地位持續提升。
理大校董會主席林大輝博士表示：「理大按照發展藍圖，循序漸進，一步一腳印、穩健前行，今日成功躋身全球50強大學，達成發展歷程中的重要階段性目標。從長遠發展而言，香港正籌劃首個五年規劃，我們希望北都大學城能為理大提供充足的土地及發展空間，為大學未來拓展奠定更堅實的基礎和更有利條件。」

PolyU has steadily risen to 50th place globally in the latest QS World University Rankings 2027, marking a record-high position for the University. The milestone reflects strong international recognition of PolyU’s academic excellence, research and innovation capabilities, and overall institutional strength, further elevating its standing in the global higher education landscape.
“PolyU has progressed in a consistent and steady manner in accordance with its development blueprint, moving forward pragmatically and purposefully. Today, the University has successfully joined the ranks of the world’s top 50 universities, reaching an important milestone in its development journey. From a long-term development perspective, Hong Kong is formulating its first Five-Year Plan, and we hope that the Northern Metropolis University Town will provide PolyU with sufficient land and development space, laying a stronger foundation and creating more favourable conditions for the University’s future expansion,” said Dr LAM Tai-fai, PolyU Council Chairman.
“Looking ahead, PolyU will further integrate into and serve the Nation’s overall development strategy, fully leveraging the University’s unique strengths. With the integrated development of education, technology and talents as our core focus, and building on our existing network of translational research institutes across 12 cities in the Chinese Mainland, we will respond to local industrial and societal needs and deepen industry-academia-research collaboration, thereby making greater contributions to national development, high-quality growth and the building of the Nation into a global science and technology powerhouse,” said Prof. Jin-Guang TENG, President of PolyU.
