Flows water in the tuneful river.

Blows wind at the hissing trees.

Season of yellowness
Grows red at the autumn dusk.

Season of yellowness
Travelled through the crowd
The fog and the flare,

Wandered into my heart
With wordless pleasure.

A fairytale

Next to a silver hair
With stainless specs
In a short train ride.

Nodded to her alien language
With unswifted eyes
And unchanged smile.

Two ruffled hands
Hugged my head, with
Two silky fingers
Ran through my hair, like
The sun streamed through
The cold Scots Pine
In the vast forrest.

Pulled me close and
Kissed, like a butterfly:
Stay safe,
Schnuckelchen.

Deep inside this lovely wood,
Like the Little Red Riding hood
Trusted the nonsense-talking wolf
And the nameless paths with faith in full.

Bees kissed on popping flowers.
Faeries chased in summer breeze.
Cattles lingered on grassy plain.

And here I stood,

And wondered when
Grandma Elfriede
And Robert Frost
Would point my way
Out of this secretive wood.

Two old friends
Walking up the
Philosophenweg
In the same tempo.

Faced the river bank
With quiet feeling.

Flame flourished on
the high Schlossl,
Sparkles sprinkled on
The Alte Brücke,

Cherries scattered on
The Schlangenweg,
Dreams filled
With Jasmine leaves.
