Meet Vicki, one of our 2026 race ambassadors.

“As a She Races ambassador, I want girls and women to see themselves clearly in the field—in all their diversity of race, culture, and body type. When a young girl watches someone who looks like her competing, it sends a powerful message: you belong here too. Role models don’t just inspire—they help counter the real risk of girls dropping out in their teenage years, because the belief that “I can” often starts with “I can see someone like me.“”

Some people find a challenge and stop there. Sharon finds one and asks what’s next.

HIIT sessions. Strength circuits. High altitude treks. Multi-day cycle tours, the kind where you carry everything you need on the back of your bike and figure out the rest as you go.

For Sharon, staying active isn’t about ticking a box. It’s what keeps her energised, sharp, and genuinely inspired.
Meet Sharon Khor, Head of Transformation Office at AIA, and one of our AIA Women in Motion ambassadors for She Races 2026.

“I love stretching myself beyond what feels comfortable, because that’s where the good stuff happens.”

To Sharon, supporting women in sport isn’t complicated. It’s encouraging each other to show up, give it a go, and actually enjoy the process, because that ripple effect goes a lot further than fitness alone.

Sport, for Jane, was never just about the physical side. It’s the people, the community, the shared purpose.

She’s an Associate Director in AIA’s Forensic Investigation Unit by day, and a regular on the pickleball court by evening, drilling and matching up against other women, week after week, no matter how packed her schedule gets.

Meet Jane Ma, one of our AIA Women in Motion ambassadors for She Races 2026.
“What keeps me going is the people I meet, the progress I make, and the shared passion that makes every session enjoyable, even on tougher days.”

She will  be the first to tell you she’s not slowing down anytime soon.

In 1990, Yan Yan won gold at the HK International Dragon Boat Races. She made Hong Kong her home that same year, and she’s never looked back.

Since then, if there’s a way to move, she’s tried it. Dragon boat. Outrigger. Surf ski. Hiking through the country parks. HYROX. Hitting the ski slopes. She has tried football and recently added pickleball to the list , because staying curious keeps her young at heart.
Meet Yan Yan Li, Head of Legal and Governance at AIA, and one of our AIA Women in Motion ambassadors for She Races 2026.

“Being an advocate for sports and well-being, as an ambassador to AIA She Races, is an honour and opportunity to champion positivity and inspire healthier living.”

For Yan Yan, the biggest win these days is not  a a podium finish,  it’s  seeing other women say yes to something new, the same way she did over 35 years ago.

Tag the woman in your life who never turns down a challenge.

Meet our She Races 2026 title sponsor: AIA Hong Kong and Macau

AIA has been part of the journey towards race day for months now, helping us create more opportunities for women to get moving, build confidence and take part in sport.

And that support goes well beyond race day.

Together, we’ve been bringing She Races into the AIA community through weekly run clubs, an inclusion panel exploring women, sport and leadership, and other activities designed to build participation and momentum ahead of October.

Most recently, we joined AIA Family Day, where the She Races team got everyone moving with a dance session and race warm-up.

AIA’s support has also enabled us to offer complimentary race places to charities across Hong Kong, helping more women and children from across the community make it to the start line.

And the impact continues beyond the race itself. Profit from race entry sales will be donated to Women In Sports Empowered HK supporting more opportunities for women and girls to participate in sport.

It all reflects the shared focus behind the partnership: improving access to sport and encouraging more women to participate in physical activity.

We’re looking forward to bringing it all together at Aberdeen Country Park on 4 October, when 500 participants will take on She Races 2026.

Thank you, AIA, for being part of the journey. 💪🏃‍♀️
