What else are we supposed to work on with Cash during our private trainings if not bicycle kicks? 😂

Jokes aside, this is a really good example of how we approach difficult movements with young players.
We start simple and safe, making sure the movement is controlled, and gradually increase the difficulty as the player becomes more comfortable with it.

But before we get there, we need to make sure the player’s coordination and body control are developed enough for us to introduce and teach the movement correctly.

That’s why we work a lot on coordination, balance, body control and technique first - and then gradually push the limits.

Step by step, repetition by repetition.

And eventually… you get moments like vs City 🚲🥶

Striker-specific work with Hong Kong U20 international Joshua Baker 🇭🇰⚽️

With the Asia Cup qualifiers in Qatar coming up, Joshua came to A&S for a 1on1 session with Aleks Shliakotin focused on the details of his position.

First touch, turning and finishing under pressure, 1v1 situations, changes of direction, shooting and different types of crosses. Just a focused session built around what he needs on the pitch.
