PS Esports Racing welcomes Sunny Lau for the 2026-2027 racing season.

Lau, who is currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Geography, joins the team on a one-year agreement with options to renew.

Sunny’s passion for motor racing began in 2019 when he first started following the sport. Four years later, he got behind the wheel of a real kart for the first time, officially kickstarting his competitive career.

Like many drivers, Sunny gained his initial experience in TS7 fun karts. Soon enough, transitioning to the KT100, a two-stroke, open-wheel race karts proved to be the catalyst that elevated his driving to the next level. Sunny has since progressed to racing some of the fastest karts on the grid, recently securing a victory in the Guangdong Karting Championship, the pinnacle of arrive-and-drive karting in the Greater Bay Area.

Sunny will race alongside Gary Fung for PS Esports Racing in 2026. Each will specialise in their respective karting and sim racing platform and participate in various sprint and one-off races. Their diverse talent will provide new insights and synergy for the Team, and will help propel us forward in the journey towards racing excellence.

We are one year old this week!

In keeping with the times, we updated our partnership narrative as well.

Twelve months ago, we began a journey together in the esports world, with little more than a belief and a vision that, by racing in the actual and virtual world, we could bring entertainment and success to our partners and our supporters.

Now, as we approach our second year, all the past achievements (and setbacks) are small reminders that we are not alone on this path towards racing excellence. Just like putting on a helmet, 'Together We Race As One' is a spirit that we carry on our shoulders, as we build our presence in the motorsport world, one lap at a time.

While we have our eyes firmly set on trophies and podiums, the focus of bringing value to our partners is equally important to us. There are many more future milestones to be achieved and we would like to thank you for being with us on this amazing journey.

The 2025-2026 season will be full of changes and challenges, but with your continuous support, we look forward to come out on top and victorious!

PS Esports Racing is pleased to announce that Gary Fung Yu Hin will be joining the team for the 2025-2026 racing season.

Fung, who is currently employed as a full-time technician, joins the team on a two-year agreement with options to renew. Gary first started sim racing in 2024 and have since been active competing on the Gran Turismo sim platform.

Like many sim-racers who started their journey with the Gran Turismo franchise, Gary followed the usual driver path and began participating in the daily races and time attack, then gradually becoming confident enough to join the official GT7 Manufacturer's Cup competition. Last November, he also joined the local SSMDG championship series, and immediately climbing to the mid pack among the series veterans.

Interestingly, Gary is one of the few drivers who got in the seats of a go-kart before crossing over to the sim world. His debut was with HKKU, a local karting club comprising of car and racing enthusiasts. Getting to the top of the podium within just five races proved his tremendous talent behind the wheel.

Fung will race alongside Jordi and Pakson as a test driver this season and start as a main driver in the 2025-2026 season. He is already getting involved in team operations and will help propel the team in the journey towards sim racing excellence.

The Team PS Esports Jordi Lee 李綽朗 was in China last weekend for the start of the 2025 Dongguan Karting Championship Season!
