A NOTE FROM ME TO YOU ๐ง๐ป๐งโโ๏ธ๐ง๐ป
Dear friends,
I want to take a moment to acknowledge something - I have been quiet this past few months and I havenโt posted any class schedules or updates. This pause wasnโt accidental. I have been reflecting deeply on something thatโs been stirring in my heart for a while now:
๏ฟผWhat does yoga truly mean to us today ? Why do we show up on the mat? Do we still remember that YOGA is more than just movement?
๐ฟ I have seen yoga evolved in so many ways over the years (since 2003) - trending styles, faster flows, picture-perfect poses ~ but I have also watched people walk into class, quietly carrying the stress, their hopes, their need to reconnect with something deeper.
And I have wondered.โฆโฆโฆ..
Even for seasoned practitioners, has Yoga subtly become another form of exercise? Or do we still pause long enough to let it be a path - a practice of present, of stillness, of self-awareness?
These are the questions I have been sitting with.
And I wanted to be honest with you about that.
This silence, this pause - itโs been a part of my own yoga. A time of inquiry. A time to ask not just what we are practicing, but why.
To hold space for yoga that nourishes not just a body, but the mind and heart. ๏ฟผTo guide practices that invite you to slow down, listen inward, and remember that Yoga is, at its core, a journey home to yourself. ๏ฟผ
I teach wholeheartedly in every single class, I practice wholeheartedly with every single one of you ๐ง๐ป๐งก.
