Paddles up for Kwun Tong Race! 🌊⚡️

Proud of every single stroke and the grit everyone brought to the water in this race. So much learned, endless potential to unlock, and we're only getting stronger together.

Beating the heat and bringing the heat!

Amidst record-breaking heat in Tai O, VRC Dragons came out with strong results competing amongst some very strong local teams in the Tai O Small Boat Race! 🌊🏆

🏆 Mixed – Silver Cup 1 Final, 4th
🏆 Men – Silver Cup Final, 6th
🏆 Ladies – Gold Cup Final, 6th

Teamwork makes the dream work! Kudos to everyone who has put in the effort and determination for the team. Let’s look forward to our next race! 🚀💥

Boiling temperatures, cool ex*****on. 🌊🐉

We survived the intense summer heat at the Tseung Kwan O Small Boat Race last weekend! Despite the scorching temperatures, the VRC Dragons kept the momentum strong. After ranking in the Top 10 during the heats, here’s how we wrapped up the day:
• Mixed: Silver Cup 3rd Place🥉
• Women: Silver Cup 6th Place
• Open: Gold Plate 5th Place

Proud of the grit, the teamwork, and the tan lines. Onto the next one! 🚣‍♂️💨

✨️2026 Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Race🐲

VRC Dragons took on strong local and international competition at the Hong Kong International Races on 27–28 June, continuing to demonstrate determination and team spirit on the water. Racing against top crews from Hong Kong and overseas, the team delivered impressive performances across both days of the race:

🏆Hong Kong Mixed Championship: 5th place (Final)
🏆International Mixed Championship: 7th place (Semi-Final)

These results reflect the crew’s hard work, resilience, and commitment as they continue to push their competitive edge on the international stage.

VRC Dragons delivered an outstanding performance at the Dragon Boat Festival race in Sai Kung on 19 June 2026, demonstrating both depth and determination across all categories. The team secured multiple podium finishes including:
🏆Women Small Boat Gold Cup – 1st runner-up
🏆Men Small Boat Silver Cup – 1st runner-up
🏆Mixed Small Boat (Team B) Gold Cup – 1st runner-up

Mixed Standard and Mixed Small Boat (Team A) crews both achieved 3rd runner-up in the Gold Cup and Silver Cup Finals respectively.

Competing head-to-head with some of Hong Kong’s strongest crews, the results reflect the team’s growing strength and consistency across divisions. As highlighted by the coach, the squad is firmly establishing itself among the city’s top competitors—an encouraging sign of what is to come. A huge well done to all paddlers, steers, drummers, and supporters for an incredible team effort both on and off the water.

The team is now looking forward to the Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races in the coming weekend (27-28 June) along Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade🐲

💙 VRC Dragons at the 2026 Eastern District Dragon Boat Race – Chai Wan! 💙🚣‍♂️

Congrats to our team competing last Sunday, 14 June 2026, at the Eastern District Dragon Boat Race with many of Hong Kong’s top teams. VRC Dragons had a great day out and demonstrated strong teamwork while competing against some excellent teams across HK.

🏁 Open Standard – Silver Cup Final: 3rd Runner-Up

Huge respect to our paddlers, captains, and everyone who supported behind the scenes.

Huge congratulations to the team for an absolute powerhouse performance at the 12th Indoor Dragon Boat Championships by HKDBA! 🐉🔥

While nothing beats the feeling of the paddle catching the water and the surge of the boat beneath us, the erg is where we prove our grit.

The results are in, and the bling be blinging:
• Single Men Open: 1st Place 🥇
• Relay Men Open: 1st Place 🥇
• Relay Mixed Open: 2nd Place 🥈
• Relay Men Senior A: 3rd Place 🥉

So incredibly proud of every single paddler who left it all on the machine. We’re bringing some serious hardware home! 🏆✨
