🇵🇹Paulo Magalhães confirms major WKN event at Coliseu dos Recreios with World President present at key meeting

Today, the President of the WKN and Paulo Magalhães, one of the leading promoters in Portugal, have reached an agreement to organize an exceptional event on December 8th at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon.
Following an on-site visit and an official meeting with the venue director at the historic Coliseu dos Recreios, the agreement was finalized for this end-of-year international combat sports event. The WKN World Director, Osman Yigin Osman Yigin, was also present during the meeting with the venue management.

Set in Lisbon Portugal, one of the most prestigious venues in Portugal, the event is expected to be an exclusive and high-profile production, marking a major moment for WKN as it continues to strengthen its international presence and showcase elite-level combat sports.

OFFICIAL WEIGH-IN – WKN AMATEUR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP | Benfica Hotel, LISBON 🇵🇹 !

The weigh-in for the WKN Amateur World Championship took place at the famous Benfica Hotel in the centre of Lisbon.
Paulo Magalhães delivered an excellent job, as always, with prestige and professionalism throughout the event.

This weekend in Lisbon, Portugal, the WKN President had the pleasure of reuniting with two outstanding members of the WKN family: Paulo Magalhaes from Portugal and Osman Yigin from Belgium and Turkey.
The occasion was a heartfelt gathering to honor and remember the late Americo Magalhaes, whose memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew and respected him.

Over the years, Paulo Magalhaes has become a highly respected and successful businessman in Portugal. Yet, despite his achievements, he has never forgotten where he came from. Whenever he has the opportunity, Paulo proudly shines a light on the WKN, the federation where, more than 25 years ago, he earned recognition as a Thunder Champion and began a remarkable journey.

Once again, WKN proves to be a pioneer in the development of combat sports by showcasing Pencak Silat, a traditional Southeast Asian martial art with centuries of history. Combining striking, grappling, sweeps, joint locks, and weapon techniques, Silat is both an effective fighting system and a rich cultural heritage.

🇲🇾N9 Kickboxing Championship Open 2026: Legacy Of Warriors

The world of kickboxing is gearing up for a major event in Malaysia. The N9 Kickboxing Championship Open 2026, titled "Legacy Of Warriors" and featuring the motto "Forged By Discipline, Crowned By Victory," will take place on July 18-19, 2026.

This high-level competition, officially sanctioned by the WKN and registered on ®️BoxRec promises to attract fighters ready to demonstrate their talent and determination in the arena. The event will be hosted at the Dewan SMK Dato' Mohd Taha in Gemencheh.
The organizers invite athletes and martial arts enthusiasts to participate in this tournament, which upholds the standards of major international kickboxing encounters. "Enter The Arena, Leave A Legacy" is the call to action for the participants, who will seek to make their mark on this 2026 edition.
