Edwin Wong didn’t leave Phu Quoc empty handed.

Both Edwin and Fenny came second in their age groups little over a week ago at Peng Chau open water swim race. For Edwin it’s his first race in over two years after the long covid stopped him from doing anything high intensity. As usual Fenny did really well except missing the final turn and had to take a longer route back and lost the win.

All year round open water swimming and sometimes in rough conditions is so important for triathlon and open water swimming races. You don’t want to DNF at your goal race. Going with the flow doesn’t work, life is always an upstream battle.
