Hong Kong Squash League 2019/20 is now open for entry. Same as last season, the squash league consists of 19 main divisions, 3 ladies divisions and 4 master divisions. Teams can join the division(s) based on their ability.

The squash league will begin on 5 October and would be finished from April to June 2020, depends on number of teams in the divisions.

Application deadline for the Hong Kong Squash League 2019/20 is 19 July 2019 (Fri). For details, please visit Hong Kong Squash official website:

Summer Squash League 2019 will have 11 divisions, including a ladies division, beginning from 17 June 2019. The prospectus is available in Hong Kong Squash website http://www.hksquash.org.hk/en/leagues_hm.php

Have you ever thought cooling down your body after exercises and workout?

Cooling down exercises is equally important as you warming up your body. It brings your body from workout condition to normal condition smoothly, including:
- Slow down your heart rate and breathe
- Prevent fainting, in extreme case, sudden death
- Dispose the lactic acid from your muscles
- Improve flexibility

Cooling down exercises may consist of 2 parts:
- Exercise with lower intensity (e.g. jogging)
- Static stretching

Lower intensity exercises act as a buffer for relaxing your body and mind from workout status to normal status, preventing the adverse effects from a sudden slow down. Stretching during cool down helps relaxing your muscles and tendons and improve stiffness after exercise.

Imagine you are sitting in a car. Would you like the car stops suddenly and your head move forward or the car slows down and stops smoothly?
