【澄清｜夏日黃昏賽@城門站 冰塊安排】
我們留意到網上有某位參賽者發帖，提到「工作人員不提供任何冰塊予參加者」相關情況。

經本機構向現場工作人員了解及核實，現場冰塊供應安排情況大致如下：

該名跑手第一次向工作義工攞冰：義工有提供冰塊。

該名跑手第二次再攞：義工再次安排提供冰塊，並按現場實際情況作出提醒，已到分配次數及接下來將按供應安排處理。

該名跑手第三次再到場攞冰：義工因應安排，清楚告知第三次不會再提供冰塊。

我們強調：

跑手安全為我們的首要考慮，同時我亦樂意接受所有基於事實的批評，亦願意作出改善。

本機構並非要怪責任何人；現場工作人員的安排旨在維持賽事運作秩序，並作出一致做法。

亦希望大家理解：工作人員會盡力在安全、秩序及公平原則下作出安排。

衷心感謝各位參賽者、義工及工作團隊的付出。希望大家都能在輕鬆、開心的氣氛下完成每一次賽事。

Clarification｜Summer Trail Race @ Shing Mun Station (Ice Block Arrangement)
We noticed a post online by participant, mentioning that “the staff did not provide any ice block to runners.”

After checking with our volunteers, the ice block arrangements were as follows:

First time he requested ice blocks: the volunteer did provide ice blocks.

Second time he requested ice blocks: the volunteer provided ice blocks again, and communicated the arrangement clearly based on the on-site distribution process.

Third time requested ice blocks: the volunteer clearly stated that no more ice blocks would be provided.

We would like to emphasise that

Safety is our top priority. At the same time, we are also willing to accept all fact-based criticism and make improvements.

We are not looking to blame anyone. The on-site volunteers and staff are committed to maintaining race operations in an orderly and consistent manner, while trying to meet participants’ needs.

Thank you to all participants, volunteers, and the working team for their efforts. We hope everyone can complete the race in a happy and enjoyable atmosphere.
