International Cycling Events in Rhodes

We were extremely pleased today to see Fredrik Dversnes (Uno-X Mobility Cycling) and Mirco Maestri (Team Polti VisitMalta), two riders who claimed their first-ever victories in Greece and at the International Cycling Events in Rhodes events — winning the yellow jersey of the general classification at the Tour of Rhodes in 2021 and 2018 respectively, while racing for Team Drali - Repsol and Bardiani CSF 7Saber— fighting for victory in today’s 15th stage of Giro d’Italia, in a spectacular finish in Milan!

Με μεγάλη χαρά είδαμε σήμερα τους Fredrik Dversnes (Uno-X Mobility Cycling) και Mirco Maestri (Team Polti VisitMalta), δύο αθλητές που πέτυχαν την πρώτη τους νίκη στην Ελλάδα και τα International Cycling Events in Rhodes, κατακτώντας την κίτρινη φανέλα της γενικής κατάταξης του Tour of Rhodes το 2021 και το 2018, αγωνιζόμενοι τότε με την Team Drali - Repsol και την Bardiani CSF 7Saber αντίστοιχα, να διεκδικούν τη νίκη στο σημερινό 15o ετάπ του Giro d’ Italia σε έναν εντυπωσιακό τερματισμό στο Μιλάνο!

Με βαθιά θλίψη αποχαιρετούμε την Ελένη Καρύδη, ιδρύτρια και πρόεδρο της Ε.Υ.ΘΥ.Τ.Α ΡΟΔΟΥ - Παρατηρητήριο Οδικής Ασφάλειας, μια γυναίκα που αφιέρωσε τη ζωή της στην προώθηση της οδικής ασφάλειας και την προστασία της ανθρώπινης ζωής. Η δράση της υπήρξε πολυετής και ουσιαστική, με έντονο κοινωνικό αποτύπωμα και συνεχή αγώνα για την πρόληψη των τροχαίων δυστυχημάτων.

Είχαμε την τιμή να συνεργαστούμε μαζί της στα International Cycling Events in Rhodes, στηρίζοντας το έργο της και λαμβάνοντας αντίστοιχα τη δική της πολύτιμη υποστήριξη. Η παρουσία της, η συνέπεια και το ήθος της αποτέλεσαν παράδειγμα για όλους μας.

Το έργο και η παρακαταθήκη της θα συνεχίσουν να μας εμπνέουν. Εκφράζουμε τα ειλικρινή μας συλλυπητήρια στην οικογένεια και τους οικείους της.

Ένας μήνας πέρασε, αλλά δεν λέει να φύγει από το μυαλό μας!

Η ιστορική νίκη του Νικηφόρου Αρβανίτου στο Rhodes GP της 7ης Μαρτίου, γράφτηκε ανεξίτηλα στη μνήμη όλων όσοι ήμασταν εκεί!, στη δέκατη επέτειο των International Cycling Events in Rhodes!

Το Rhodes GP στο τοπ 5 των γρηγορότερων φετινών αγώνων, όπως μας ενημερώνει το ProCyclingStats, κατά τη διάρκεια της live κάλυψης του Milano-Sanremo που έχει ξεκινήσει εδώ και λίγη ώρα!

Και όχι μόνο αυτό, αλλά φέτος το Rhodes GP, με μέση ταχύτητα 46,1 km/h, ήταν γρηγορότερο από κάθε άλλη χρονιά στη δεκαετή ιστορία των International Cycling Events in Rhodes!
