NAFPLIO 2026 – THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
Following the great success of last year, the city of Nafplio is excited to continue a truly special sporting event:
From July 20th to July 23rd, 2026, the 2nd International Taekwondo Summer Camp in Nafplio will take place!
Athletes, coaches, and families from up to 40 nations have already registered, with nearly 400 participants confirmed so far – a strong sign of the growing international importance of this unique event.
The vision of Marios Tsourdinis European Champion and Dimitrios L. has always been clear: to bring a top-level international event in Olympic Taekwondo to Nafplio – a place where sport, holidays, sunshine, beaches, and the sea come together in a unique way.
Many participants are extending their stay in Nafplio, resulting in approximately 3,000 hotel and overnight reservations already expected, all independently organized by international guests. This highlights the event’s significant impact on sports tourism and the local economy.

The goal is clear: to establish the Taekwondo Summer Camp as a permanent part of Nafplio’s sports calendar and to position the city as an international meeting point for Olympic Taekwondo.
