«The 8th OCEANMAN Vouliagmeni 2026 is established as a major international sporting event and a benchmark for open water swimming.
The Greek National Tourism Organisation actively supports initiatives such as OCEANMAN, recognizing their significant contribution to the development of sports tourism. This is one of the most dynamic forms of thematic tourism, enhancing visitor flows throughout the year, attracting highly engaged travelers, and showcasing Greece’s unique destinations to an international audience.
Vouliagmeni is an excellent example of how sport can be harmoniously connected with the natural environment, hospitality, and the authentic visitor experience. Attica, with its unique beauty and modern infrastructure, offers ideal conditions for hosting international sporting events that promote our country as a contemporary, sustainable, and multifaceted destination, generating substantial benefits for both the national and local economy.
Warm congratulations to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone working toward the success of this event, providing an outstanding experience for athletes and their accompanying guests from Greece and abroad.
