Kalimitsi consists of 3 pristine beaches and the village on the main beach, has been gradually developing as a resort town. In the summer many come for an affordable vacation by camping at one of the organized camping sites. The beaches can get somewhat crowded during the summer months, but if you come in June or September, there is basically nobody on the main beach of Kalamitsi. Where to stay in

The camping sites are well organized and are equipped for both caravans and tents. What is there to do in Kalamitsi? Kalamitsi is a good place to come to for scuba diving and fishing. There are also several camping sites to choose from where you camp right on the beach. Kalamitsi is a place to come for water sports and marine activities and to rest on the beach. Sykia is in close proximity and there are some hikes that you can enjoy in the region. Toroni is also very close to the west. So if the peaceful isolation of Kalamitsi gets boring, you can always explore these area.
