Universal FA Tightened Grip On Title Race.

Officially after Sunday's 3-1 victory over Banjul Bee's, Universal FA's next game will be the only thing standing between them and the trophy they have been dreaming of lifting for the past 2 years.

They manifested resilience through action and the 3-1 win over Banjul Bee's FA inspired by a brace from talisman Jarga Mbowe could well define the season and their legacy in grassroots football once and for all, as they establish a 5 points lead above 2nd place KGH Sports with only 2 matches left.

Sundays other two matches will involve defending champions Excellence FA who will want to ammend mistakes of last week's defeat when they face Unique Global, also on a 2 game losing streak, in the early game at Manduar.

Universal FA clash against Banjul Bee's will be watched far away from Manduar simply because its a game that could fortify or loosen the title race.

A win or draw for Banjul Bee's, who held KGH 1-1 last week, will make the remaining 2 rounds more electrifying, where there will be no margin for error from the top two sides fighting for the league.

'Final Day Collapse 2025'

Universal will learn from last seasons painful lesson when they lost the title on the final matchday, a 3-1 loss to GIFTS handed Excellence the title.

Universal who are locked and loaded will aim to unleash a barrage of strikes in this match knowing a win will kill the fire of the sagging KGH eventhough a 5 points lead is still mathematically assailable with 2 rounds more after week 11.

KGH Sports FA were just 7 minutes away from a very crucial victory but E-Sohna, the surprise package of the season, quelled those dreams with an 83rd minute pinpoint penalty converted by Abdoulie Mansally to restore parity 13 minutes after KGH Sports took the lead through Modou Lamin Fadera in the 70th minute.

Literally the 1-1 draw has turned the tide against KGH Sports in their pursuit for the title they last won in 2024 and as a result KGH-who now drew for the 3rd consecutive game in a row -will fall 5 points behind leaders by Sunday, if Universal FA beats Banjul Bee's FA.
