MEET THE GPF COACH WHO GUIDED BRUFUT TO CLINCH THEIR FIRST TROPHY.

The Gambia Police Force (GPF) Sports Department is thrilled to congratulate one of their female coach, Aji Jallow of Brufut, who guided Brufut to clinch their first trophy in the West Coast Region (WCR) Zonal Super Cup Final.

Brufut took on Foni on Sunday, November 02nd, 2025, at the Brikama Boxba Mini-Stadium. The team turned the tables by defeating Foni, the defending champions, 2-1, after having conceded defeat against the same team in last year's final.

Aji Jallow, who is a member of the police female team as the assistant coach and serves as a trainer to the Brufut Zonal team, showcased her innovative tactics, enthusiasm, and commitment, empowering players to excel and forging a winning team that will inspire future generations.

Once more, congratulations to coach Aji Jallow. Keep it up and continue the spirit, more wins are ahead.

Today's game was a thrilling encounter with passion and dedication from the boys, the match was postponed due to darkness and the match officials decided to call off the game till further notice.
The score line was UPRISING FC 2-3 SAATEH BAKONO UNITED with 7 minutes of no more time remaining on the clock.
Yet the fight for glory is not yet over, we will never give up until our target is met.

Shots from today's game against the League Champions last season AC MILAN. The game ended 1 all but it was not enough to send UPRISING FC to the round of 16. From losing our first group game to a draw in our last 2 games collecting 2 points from 3 matches.
Not the result we all wanted but show sportsmanship and believe in the process trying to work harder and prepare for the Knockout League.
