It was a fiery showdown between Madiana and Tujereng, a tale of two communities, one pitch, one dream. But when the final whistle sang, it was the Madiana based warriors,Satehba United, who stood tall, a commanding 4:0 victory over Tujereng’s Misira United.
The story began early. Omar Manneh struck first, lighting up Bunks park in the 9th minute, before Abdoulie Saidy doubled the lead in the 13th minute, giving the Madiana boys a dominant 2:0 advantage at halftime.
The second half was no different, Satehba kept their foot on the pedal. Just 5 minutes after the restart, Saidy delivered again, completing his brace with a thunderous finish. And in the 25th minute of the second half, substitute Foday Sanneh added the final dagger, coolly intercepting a goalkeeper’s kick before slotting the ball home with ice in his veins.
From the first whistle to the last breath of the game, Satehba United owned the pitch, the tempo, and the moment.
With this emphatic win, Satehba United march into the semifinals, where they will lock horns with Real Dolphin FA, The Dolphins, in what promises to be another classic.
