CYBER BULLYING
They don’t throw stones, they throw words online,
Hidden behind screens, crossing every line.
Typing hate fast, like it’s part of a game,
Never seeing faces, never feeling the shame.
Cyber bullying yeah, pain with a click,
A message, a comment, and it hits so quick.
“Not good enough,” “You don’t belong,”
Turn a weak moment into a lifetime wrong.
They laugh with emojis, disguise it as fun,
But don’t see the damage their fingers have done.
A joke to you might be someone’s fall,
One cruel sentence can shatter it all.
Behind every profile is someone real,
With thoughts they battle and wounds they feel.
A heart that breaks but refuses to show,
A silent war nobody else will know.
Scrolling at night with tears in their eyes,
Reading those words, believing the lies.
Questioning worth, losing their light,
Fighting alone in a digital fight.
But listen
Words can heal or words can kill,
They carry power, they always will.
You can build up or tear apart,
With just one post, with just one start.
So before you type, before you send,
Ask yourself does this help or offend?
Is it kind, is it true, is it right?
Or just more darkness you add to the fight?
And you yeah you on the other side,
Don’t let their hate be where you reside.
You’re stronger than comments, braver than pain,
More than the insults they try to explain.
You’re not their words, you’re not their lies,
You’re more than the hate they try to disguise.
Stand up, speak out, let your voice be heard,
You are not broken by someone’s word.
So let’s change the way that we communicate,
Turn love into language instead of hate.
Because behind every screen, if we choose to see,
Is a human heart just like you and me.
