Bradley Barcola: ‘It’s a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool’

Bradley Barcola has officially joined Liverpool. The 23-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Reds at the AXA Training Centre after completing his medical and finalising the transfer.

Barcola will wear the No. 29 shirt at Liverpool.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com after completing his move, the Frenchman expressed his delight at joining the club.

“It’s a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I’m very happy.

“It took a long time, but I’m really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool. All I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

“I want to achieve that and stay in this team in the long term. That’s why I signed a long contract, and I hope I can do it,” Barcola said.

Liverpool officially announce signing of Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have officially announced the signing of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, completing a major addition to Andoni Iraola’s squad.

The 23-year-old joins the Reds after a deal worth up to £123 million was agreed with the French champions.

Liverpool will pay an initial £106 million, with a further £17 million available in add-ons, making Barcola the club’s second-most expensive signing after Alexander Isak. He has agreed a five-year contract at Anfield.

Barcola arrives after recording 39 goals and 37 assists in 152 appearances for PSG, winning two Champions League titles, three Ligue 1 crowns and two French Cups.
