SPORTS LAW ENDS
The National Sports College, Winneba, has successfully concluded its maiden Sports Law Course at its premises in Winneba.

The course attracted a total of 43 participants, comprising 6 females and 37 males.

The graduating class reflected a diverse cross-section of the sports industry, including administrators, club officials, physical education instructors, and former athletes among others. This diversity created a valuable platform for networking and the exchange of practical experiences.

The course was facilitated by Enam Dzakpasu, Antonio Vicente, Andre Costa, Akashi Batra, and Fraser Williamson. Key topics covered included an introduction to sports law and dispute resolution mechanisms, sports contracts and regulatory frameworks, doping, and proceedings at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The Director of the College, on behalf of the Director of the College, Mad. Ethel Banoyelle, Administrator for the NSC described the successful organization of the course as a significant step toward the development of sports in the country. She encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the sports industry.

The course was coordinated by the Technical team of the College headed by Mr. Emmanuel Appiah in collaboration with Almeida & Associados.
