🎙️ WANSU FC captain **Emmanuel Amoquandoh** faced the media ahead of their highly anticipated weekend encounter against **L.B. Sporting Club**.

The skipper expressed confidence in the team’s preparation and spirit going into the game, emphasizing the importance of consistency and teamwork.

“We’ve had a good week of training and everyone is focused,” Amoquandoh said. “We know the challenge ahead, but we are determined to fight for the three points. The unity and energy in camp are high, and we’re ready to give our fans something to cheer about.”

He also called on the supporters to rally behind the team as they aim to continue building momentum in the league campaign.

As we celebrate the special day of Christmas this year, I want to take moment to extend my heartfelt wishes to all our dedicated supporters around the world. Christmas is a time of joy, reflection, and giving, and I hope this season brings you warmth and happiness, surrounded by family, friends, and cherished loved ones.

I also extend best wishes to the Wansu FC staff, and members of the various technical teams. Is not much rest for many of you amid preparation the upcoming games in the second round, but I do hope there will be a chance to share lunch with loved ones on this special day.

I would also like to acknowledge the incredible support we have received from our sponsors and partners throughout the year. Your unwavering commitment helps us to continue striving for excellence, and for that, we are immensely grateful. I you all a Merry Christmas.

During this joyous season, we must also recognize that it can be a difficult time many.

As we celebrate this festive season, let us commit to spreading love, peace, and joy in everything. It is essential to value and uplift each other as people, as we are all part of this beautiful journey as supporters of Wansu FC.

I encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly by taking care of yourselves and those around you. Where possible, we need to extend a hand of giving to the less fortunate. Enjoy the festivities, but let’s do so while being mindful of our actions and their impact on others. Those who will on the road, please be watchful and avoid driving while you are under the influence alcohol.

Last but not least, I would also like to extend wishes to the extended football families at the GFA, WRFA, CAF, and FIFA. A lot of good work was done this year Let us continue to take football to the next level in 2025.

🗣 Samuel Abubonsra reflecting on the Rainers FC win against Two City Abotreye FC yesterday: It’s a very difficult game. I think we controlled the game very well and didn’t allow them any chances. We managed to score, and of course, that’s the most important thing because we wanted to win the game.

They are a tough team to break down. They are very solid in the box. Just the little details in the box, we managed to do it well. Sometimes, I think the positioning in the box was perfect, so we have to look at that and make it more in the next game.

Firstly, I think we try to look at ourselves. I think that’s the most important point. We want to win games. We have to win that game against Two City Abotreye FC. We try to be positive, stick together as a group and make it happen again in our next game. I thank my teammates and coaches for their support. If not, I wouldn't have got this hat trick.
