Earlier today, the Municipal Football Association paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Matthew Ayeh, the Municipal Chief Executive, to engage in discussions and formally present the challenges confronting the association.

During the meeting, the association highlighted key issues affecting football development in the Municipality, including inadequate logistics, limited financial support, poor sporting infrastructure, and the need for stronger collaboration to promote grassroots football.

The MCE warmly received the delegation and assured them of his commitment to supporting sports development in the Municipality. He acknowledged the important role football plays in youth empowerment, talent development, and community unity, and pledged to explore possible ways of addressing the concerns raised.

The visit ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing readiness to work together to improve football activities and create more opportunities for young talents in the Municipality.
