Kasoa Community League Concludes Successfully as Organizers Honor Main Sponsor

The recently concluded Kasoa Community League has come to a successful and memorable end, leaving behind exciting football moments and a strong sense of unity within the community.

The success of the tournament would not have been possible without the immense support of our main sponsor, Chairman Stephen Ofosu Agyare, the NDC Constituency Chairman. His commitment and contribution played a key role in ensuring a smooth, competitive, and well-organized league.

In appreciation of his support, the league organizers presented a well-deserved citation of recognition to Chairman Stephen Ofosu Agyare as a token of gratitude. The gesture was warmly received, and he expressed his appreciation to the organizers and participating teams.

In his remarks, Chairman Stephen Ofosu Agyare encouraged the youth of Kasoa and beyond to embrace sports, particularly football, as a tool for unity, discipline, and peaceful coexistence. He emphasized how football can positively shape young lives and strengthen community bonds.

Young Emirate FC Triumph Over On God FC in Dramatic Kasoa Community League Final

The 2025/26 Kasoa Community League final between Young Emirate FC and On God FC lived up to expectations, delivering tension, resilience, and high drama.

The match was fiercely contested from the start. On God FC suffered a major setback, losing two key players to injury, forcing early tactical changes. Despite the disruption, the first half ended 0–0, with both teams showing defensive discipline and composure.

The second half opened up. Each side found the net, ending regulation time 1–1. Matters intensified further as both teams were reduced to ten men, underlining the physical and emotional demands of the contest.

With no winner after full time, the championship was decided by penalties. Young Emirate FC held their nerve, winning the shootout 5–3 to lift the Kasoa Community League title.

This victory capped a deserved run for Young Emirate FC, who progressed from Group C unbeaten, built on a strong defensive foundation and timely wins. Their consistency and control throughout the tournament translated into composure when it mattered most.

For On God FC, the final was a reflection of their journey from Group A—disciplined, resilient, and competitive. Despite injuries and adversity, they pushed the champions to the limit and proved why they were one of the most difficult teams to beat in the competition.

In the end, margins were fine, pressure was immense, and football decided the outcome. Young Emirate FC emerged champions, but both teams left the pitch with respect earned and pride intact.

KASOA COMMUNITY LEAGUE 2025/26 – FINAL MATCHDAY ANNOUNCEMENT

Kasoa, The Kasoa Community League is set to conclude its thrilling 2025/26 season this Sunday, 21st December 2025, with the 3rd & 4th Place Match and the Grand Finale.

The final matchday promises a full day of football, entertainment, and celebration for the entire community.

DAY’S SCHEDULE
• 10:00 AM – Official Ceremony Begins
Talented kids from various teams will open the day with a ceremonial kickoff match to ignite the atmosphere.
• 12:00 PM – 3rd & 4th Place Match
Two strong sides battle for the bronze position in what is expected to be a competitive and emotional clash.
• 3:00 PM – Grand Finale (1st & 2nd Place)
The main event of the season. Two top teams go head-to-head for the ultimate title of Kasoa Community League Champions 2025/26.

The program will also feature performances from underground music artists, adding more excitement to the occasion.
