🚨A Nigerian woman living in Ghana has criticized the eviction of women from Korle Woko following a visit by Ga Mashie traditional leaders, who were carrying out an exercise targeting people believed to be engaging in Olosho.
“Does this mean Ghanaians have no laws? How can you just wake up one day and decide to evict people from where they live, all in the name of fighting Olosho? Don’t you people sleep with them too?” she said.
Her comments have sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some agreed that any enforcement action should follow due process and respect the rights of those affected, others supported the exercise, arguing that authorities and traditional leaders have a responsibility to address activities they believe are affecting the community.
The woman's remarks reflect her personal opinion. Authorities and the Ga Mashie traditional leadership have not publicly responded to her comments.
