30baysin30days The 30baysin30days challenge being run on behalf of Les Bourgs Hospice. Please click on the "About" button below to find out more or visit www.30bays.org Why?

The concept is to get as many people as possible to sign up to swim at least 30 strokes in a list of 30 bays in Guernsey between 1st July and 30th July to raise money for Les Bourgs Hospice in Guernsey (an alternative option is available for any person with mobility issues or who may not be able to access all of the bays). Inspired by Ian Brown's annual 30/30 cycle event which has raised an incred

ible amount for the Hospice over the years, this is the first one for us so please help make it a success so we can keep it going year after year too! The first swim will be at Vazon and the last at Cobo but in between you can swim the other bays on the list in whichever order, whenever you like. You can tick a few off at the weekends, swim before work , in your lunch hour or before a picnic tea on the beach - basically any time that works for you. Well apart from helping Les Bourgs reach their annual fund raising target it will hopefully get you discovering places you've never been to or haven't visited for years, catching up with friends and family for Summer fun and most of all enjoying some of the best of what this amazing little rock we live on has to offer. We love that some of the bays are on our list for the sea swimming challenge!

THANK YOU! £17.4k raised for palliative care for our Bailiwick Community 🙌🏻.

We were a little overwhelmed with the support of this year’s 12 bays of Christmas fundraiser for with 311 swimmers signing up to the challenge of dipping in the festively themed bays during December.

There was an increase in the number of family groups taking part and also more teams from companies getting involved which was great to see.

Whether you were a swimmer, towel holder or donor we cannot thank you enough. Our grateful thanks to .gg, and for their continued support of the event. Plus the Marley and Sealey families for the original event concept.

Hoping you enjoyed the challenge as much as we did! We can’t wait for the next edition of 30 bays, 15 bays or 9 bays in July.
