A feast of next generation rugby awaits at the Rec this Friday.

The evening kicks off at 6pm with Swansea Valley taking on RGC East in the Under 16s Plate quarter-final.

Then at 7:30pm, our Under 14s face their good friends from Tonna in what promises to be another cracking encounter.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for these young players to perform under the lights at Ystradgynlais, always a special occasion.

Yesterday the boys hit the road and travelled to Porthcawl RFC for the first time. It was a close game which ended with just 7 points between both scores with our boys taking the narrow win.

We look forward to welcoming Porthcawl's U14s to the Rec in the near future 🔵⚪🔵

One of our sponsors The Angel Pontneathvaughan will be raising funds for us on Saturday evening at Ystradgynlais Rugby by taking over the kitchen for the clubs annual Oktoberfest 🇩🇪

Help us raise money for the boys by treating yourself to an authentic German Hotdog 🌭 with plenty of toppings on offer and load up those tater tots with beef chilli or spicy cheese 🧀

The boys hit the road last weekend and travelled to our friends at Penclawdd RFC for a very close game....Literally one point in it until final play when we miraculously got a final try in 🙏🏼

We look forward to welcoming Penclawdd to the rec in the near future.
