Tonight’s result is in, and there was nothing to separate the two sides in our first-ever meeting.

A tight 3–3 draw reflected the excellent defensive commitment shown by both The Yobs and Bonymaen in a highly competitive game of veterans touch rugby.

Both teams worked tirelessly in defence, making every score hard-earned and producing an entertaining contest from start to finish. Well done to everyone involved.

MATCH NIGHT 🏉

Tonight we welcome Bonymaen Ghostriders to Ynysydarren Park for the first-ever meeting between the two sides. While it’s a new fixture on the field, there’s plenty of recent history between the two clubs, which should make for an entertaining contest.

The YOBs will be looking to put on a performance in front of the home crowd, and with both teams eager to make their mark, this promises to be a great evening of rugby.

Kick-off: 7:00 PM
Venue: Ynysydarren Park

A win on the road for the Yobs! The boys travelled to Glais to take on the Old Dogs and came away with the victory in a very competitive contest. Both sides played some great attacking rugby and, as always, the game was played in excellent spirit and sportsmanship throughout.

A warm welcome at Glais as ever, and a massive shift put in by both teams in tough conditions. Thanks for the game boys we look forward to welcoming you back to the Fera for the reverse fixture soon!

Hot one tonight🔥🥵 but a brilliant turn out. Great to see some familiar faces back involved now that the regular rugby season has come to an end also happy to see some of the 1st squad having a run out to keep they’re fitness levels up over the summer. A massive well done to the 7 Yobs who made the trip to Glais to compete in the Swansea Valley 7s 2026. Short on numbers, we knew it would be a tough day but we backed ourselves to compete, and that’s exactly what we did 💪

Yobs squad for tomorrow. We enter the 2026 Swansea Valley 7s with a very small squad but the squad is strong enough to compete and we know the boys will give it their best shot. Hopefully the hamstrings stay intact and the 7 Yobs manage to complete the day. All the best boys💪🏻🖤❤️💚

🏉 This Saturday the Yobs head to Glais RFC for our first tournament of 2026 — the Swansea Valley 7s, hosted by Glais Old Dogs.

We’re looking forward to a cracking day of touch rugby, taking on some strong local sides, and finishing it the right way with a few beers afterwards 🍻

If you’re around, come down and show your support — it would be great to see plenty of Yobs supporters on the sidelines.
